（觀傳媒中彰投新聞）【記者廖妙茜/台中報導】為感謝榮民前輩對國家長年辛勞與無私奉獻，財團法人台灣郵政協會與臺中郵局於今（20）日前往臺中市榮民服務處辦理「重陽敬老慰問活動」，致贈重陽慰問禮，關懷獨居榮民及長者們，並祝福長輩們重陽節快樂、健康平安。
重陽慰問禮特選馬玉山穀脆系列沖泡飲品共700包，以營養均衡、方便沖泡的飲品為長者補充能量，傳遞溫暖心意。榮民服務處由羅籝洋處長回贈感謝狀，感謝郵局關懷獨居榮民（眷）的善行義舉，期能藉此次活動喚起社會大眾關切獨居長者之議題，讓關懷與愛心持續傳遞，溫暖社會。
臺中郵局葉玉瑕局長表示榮民前輩功在國家，前人艱辛奉獻，後人得以安居樂業，望年輕一輩毋忘前輩們保家衛國的精神及付出，九九重陽是敬老節日，盼藉由活動讓獨居長單們感受郵愛久久。台灣郵政協會與臺中郵局將持續落實「在地人服務在地人」理念，發揮「好厝邊」的角色，積極投入公益行列，以實際行動回饋社會，傳遞郵政溫暖。
